1. Review the Chapters

Your training manager should have assigned you a user name and temporary password. The first time you sign on to Pet Store Pro™, you will be prompted create a new password. Your training manager can reset your password if you forget it.

The Home Page lists the chapters. Each chapter is independent. Talk to your training manager about which to complete.

You also can print chapters for offline study and reference. To access a study guide, click on a chapter to open it then click Print Entire Chapter Study Guide at the top of the screen.

2. Move Between Chapters

There are two ways to move from chapter to chapter:

1. Click on the Home Page button at the top of the screen.
2. Use the white navigation box at the top left of the screen.

The navigation bar shows which chapter you are in. Click the blue arrow beneath the title to see a menu of available chapters. Or use the PREV. and NEXT buttons to move through the chapters in order.

After you’ve selected a chapter, the first topic module will appear in the center of the screen.

You can view the modules in order or jump to a specific topic for quick reference.

• To view the modules in order:
  Use the module navigation bar at the top center of the screen. This blue box shows the module number in white type. Click PREV. or NEXT to move through the modules in order.
• To view a specific module:
  Use the arrow directly below the category name in the blue box to access the pull-down menu. Select the module you want to see.
  
  This is a great way to get a quick answer to a customer question, to resume study if you’ve been interrupted or to refresh your memory on a specific topic.

4. Access Important Information

As you review material in each chapter, the Click Here box is a shortcut to important information you need to know. Clicking the box will open a separate browser window with details you should review before taking the chapter test.

Click Next to move forward within the pop-up window and Previous to go back. Click Close to return to the main screen.

5. Take the Tests

Complete the test at the end of each chapter to show what you have learned.

To take tests online:

1. Log in to Pet Store Pro™.
   Use the user name and temporary password assigned by your Training Manager the first time you log in. You will be prompted to create a new password.
2. Go to the Student Testing Page.
3. Click on the appropriate chapter test.
4. Answer the questions.
5. Click Submit for instant grading. Corrections to any wrong answers are displayed immediately. Your score will be e-mailed to you and your training manager.
6. If you fail the test, review the chapter and take the test again.

You also can print tests to take offline. However, you or your training manager must transfer the answers to the online test page to receive feedback and results.

NOTE: The order of questions changes each time a test is opened online so proceed carefully. Don’t just type the answers in the order of the printed page.

Complete all assigned chapters and pass the tests to earn your Certificate of Achievement.

6. Launch Your Learning

You’re ready to start. Go to the Home Page and click on your first chapter to begin studying.
